Backstage is a conceptual outdoor event designed to reactivate an underutilised public space in Melbourne’s CBD. Set within the secluded Merritts Reserve, the event brings together live local busking, small-scale wine and craft beer vendors, and an intimate atmosphere focused on connection and discovery.
The project involved developing a complete experience vision and visual language system, including branding, posters, social media assets, and announcement content. Designed to feel live, local, and lowkey, Backstage balances functional event communication with emotional storytelling, demonstrating a considered approach to experience design within a fast-paced, real-world urban context.
